Method
- Cook the ramen noodles in boiling water for 2-3 minutes until just tender. Drain and set aside. Discard the seasoning packets.
- Heat sesame oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add ground beef and cook 5-6 minutes, breaking it up, until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger to the beef and cook 1 minute until fragrant.
- Whisk soy sauce, brown sugar, rice vinegar, sriracha, toasted sesame oil, and beef broth. Pour over the beef and simmer 3-4 minutes until slightly thickened.
- Add the drained noodles to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the sauce.
- Top with green onions and toasted sesame seeds. Serve hot.
Notes
Discarding the seasoning packet and making the sauce from scratch gives a much better flavor. Add a fried egg or steamed broccoli for extra protein and veggies. Nutrition values are estimates.
